The Niles District Library is alive with technology, fun things to do, and new friends to make! We strive to provide interactive, creative, and inclusive programming that captures the attention and imaginations of all of our patrons and introduces them to a world of entertainment and knowledge. Because we constantly look for ways to inform, entertain, and enrich our patrons, programming changes frequently. Check our event listings often, but plan on activities that recur throughout the month.

Nerf Nights now run October through May. This family program is intended for families of children ages 12 and under. We have something for every member of the family to do and a variety of awesome Nerf games that we play throughout the night.
Please bring your own Nerf blaster (limited to the number that you can keep track of), melee weapons are not permitted. We only have a limited number of blasters that can be borrowed. We use NDL Nerf darts at the event, so please leave your personal ones at home. Registration is required upon arrival, along with the signing of a seasonal waiver (under 18 need a parent to sign), so please plan to arrive early so that we can start at 6:00 when the library closes; doors also close at 6:00 pm. Children under the age of 12 must have a parent or adult guardian with them for the duration of the event.
This event is limited to 100 participants. Please pre-register in order to attend by stopping by the Information Desk or by calling 269-683-8545, ext. 112.
