Local History and Genealogy
The Local History Room is located across from the information desk. It is open 9:00am to 5:00am Monday, and Wednesday through Saturday. On Tuesdays it is open noon to 8:00pm. Our resources focus on Niles and the immediately surrounding area. Because many of the items available here are unique or out-of-print, most cannot be checked out. However, there is a copier conveniently located inside the room. Copies are fifteen cents each. Our experienced staff will be happy to assist you with local history and genealogy research.
