WiFi and Computer Availability

Computer Services

Desktop computers are available with high-speed Internet access and Microsoft Office 2010 in the Computer Lab.  A valid Niles District Library card is required to sign in but guest passes are also available.  Use is limited to 2 hours per day. Scanning, color printing, and copying services are available for a fee.

Wifi Available for All

We offer high speed Internet access to people with a WiFi compatible device.  To access our wifi network, connect to the network and then open a browser.  You will be asked for a patron name and log-in.  These are available at the Information Desk.

Laptops for Use in Library

Laptop computers are available for check-out and use within the library.  Patrons must be age eighteen or above and have a library card to check-out a laptop.  Laptops check-out for 2 hours.

Computers for Preschoolers

There are three touch-screen computers in the Youth Services Department that are loaded with fun and educational software.

Express Terminals

Just need to quickly check your e-mail or print a boarding pass?  Several computers in the Computer Lab are available for this purpose.

Computer Classes

The library offers a wide variety of computer classes for both beginners and more advanced users. Registration is required for all classes. Classes often fill-up fast, so be sure to reserve your spot early by calling the library at 269 683 8545 or visiting the computer lab.
