Teens – this is not your mama’s library! Don’t come here expecting lonely reading booths, musty card catalogs, and a “hush, hush,” no-food-allowed atmosphere. The Niles District Library is alive with technology, fun things to do and new friends to make.
You just have to check our calendar all the time or you will miss something awesome. You may find something with an intriguing name like “Villainy 101”; card, video and life size board games; art lessons; pizza parties; writing workshops; Nerf Olympics; magic shows; or a duct tape craft that will help you explore your hidden talents. We even offer a workout program that will have your muscles toned in no time – just stop by our Youth Services department to find out more. There’s no reason to be bored in the Niles area – the Niles District Library has you covered.
